| Little Yellow is a dark air cured tobacco which is a truly unique American heirloom, dating back to before 1900. The plant produces from 16-18 leaves on a low growing plant of 4-5 feet in height, with good resistance to wind and rain. It matures early in only 50-55 days. The leaf is heavy in weight, thick and sticky, and leaves average 24-26 inches in length and 16 inches wide. The leaf cures to a reddish yellow or light golden brown. It is smooth to smoke and has a distinctive flavor and aroma. It is good choice for making chewing tobacco or using in a pipe blend. It also makes a richly flavored and smooth Cavendish. Little Yellow has a nicotine content of 3.5%. PI 551289
